Thursday Night Show: Brooke and Joy!
We’re taking full advantage of the lovely nights on the Vine and Bean patio by inviting a number of our favorite musicians to play under the stars.
This weekend should feature the kind of temperate nights that have made the Vine and Bean patio a favorite summer oasis.
We start on Thursday with a double header of singer-songwriters from Pittsburgh and Nashville. Brooke Annibale digs deep into the space between Norah Jones, Sarah McLachlan, and Natalie Merchant and comes up with a groove that builds on her sweet but knowing voice. Also on the bill Thursday is Joy Ike who The Pittsburgh Post-Gazzette says “…very much a neo-soul contender in the vein of Corrine Bailey Rae or Norah Jones.” Don’t miss this rare treat blowing through town like a warm breeze.
On Friday, we are happy to present DBC/ LA VIE. A local favorite four-piece that graced the stage at Café Limbo, we expect a great crowd full of love and glee. Come early, get dinner and a good seat.
On Saturday we will be introducing Age Old Stationery to the Larchmere scene. With slow, bluesy, piano driven melodies and a fresh modern edge that draws from many diverse influences they are confident with their own original sound and spiritual approach.
